Jun Ma received both of his bachelor and master degree of architecture from Central Academy of Fine Art (China), and he worked as a architect in Beijing. His research is about the future strategy of the non-urban areas in Chinese urbanisation.

Wei Wang is a urban researcher, who was educated at CAFA(Central Academy of Fine Arts China) in architecture and TU Delft in Urbanism(Holland). She also experiments on film making and writing, thereby devote herself to cross -discipline studies.
As a PhD candidate of AHO from Autumn 2015, she employs her profession and interest to the topic of The Urbanisation of Rural China, and stresses to analyse the contemporary phenomenon and gain the knowledge of successful or unsuccessful strategies at virtual and physical manner.
Li, Bin
Researcher
Bin Li is an architect and landscape architect from Beijing. Her works bridge fields of architecture, landscape, and territory, scales of miniature and panorama, environments of rural and urban. Before moving to Oslo and joining AHO, she practiced in Boston, Berlin and Hong Kong including Vogt Landscape Architects and Rural Urban Framework. Bin holds a PhD from AHO, a Master of Architecture degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies from the University of Hong Kong.

Halvor is an architect, and Associate Professor at The Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO). He graduated as an architect from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, 2005. His PhD from AHO focused on recent harbor front developments in Oslo (1980-2010).
Hauglin, Espen
Researcher
Espen is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Urbanism and Landscape where he studies use of GIS (Geographical Information Systems) in strategic planning. The project is focusing on how geographical information can expose urban patterns and how such information, both spatial and nonspatial, can reveal new site relationships.
After finishing a two-year literature programme at NTNU, Espen started his architectural studies at Bergen School of Architecture where he received his bachelor degree in 1998. He graduated from the Oslo School of Architecture and Design in 2001 with his diploma work ‘Byutvikling i Øst; urban prosjektering langs havnefronten’.
Zander, Hannes
PhD-fellow
Hannes is a Swiss landscape architect and researcher. In his work, he is interested in the transformation of land through forces of urbanisation, including its social, economic, and environmental implications. Before moving to Oslo, Hannes has been working for research initiatives dealing with urbanism and landscape at Peking University and at Harvard University, as well as a landscape architect for design firms in the U.S. and Europe. Hannes is holding a Master in Landscape Architecture degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
