Collins is a PhD Research Fellow at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO). He is currently on a three year study leave from the University of Nairobi, Kenya where he is a lecturer in design and interior architecture in the School of the Arts and Design, College of Architecture and Engineering. He also has working experience in design, interior design and urban planning. He holds a bachelors degree in design from the University of Nairobi, a Masters degree in Interior Architecture from the University of Oregon, USA and a Masters degree in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania, USA.
