About the project

How can larger logics  of the territory inform of regional productivity, a process of mitigation the disturbances, and rediscover regional identity?

The environmental and economic challenges of this century, with increasing occurrences of unpredictable climatic challenges, demands a closer look towards development of the territory through urbanization and industrialization. Growth had changed the dynamics of Lower Silesia region, from valley to mountains; from surface to deep below the ground; changing land-use from a strategic site and place of many military conflicts, to productive landscapes runs by various industries; taking its toll on the landscape. In order to re-imagine and facilitate solutions that contribute to better interplay between urban, rural and surrounding landscapes; understanding full complexity of Lower Silesian territories is crucial.
