Norwegian Strategic Heritage Practices

Complex contemporary challenges across Europe have, over time, called for a shift in the way we approach planning. In Norway, as well as many other European countries, urban planning practices are largely project-based and initiated by private actors. The article gives an introduction to how heritage strategies and tools have been developed and implemented in collaboration between the state, municipalities and communities in Norway.
